Great app and sounds. Bought the MKS extreme. But now there’s a latency vs before there wasn’t. Any way to fix this?

The sounds are pretty cool. Very nice to layer. But the performance is horrible. Stack up two or three sounds and it starts lagging and drops out notes quite fast. Also the effects doesn't work at all. It would be nice if they did. The Midi learn function is pretty cool BUT all is lost whenever the screensaver goes on!? Overall it could be a great app with good potential, but with the mentioned flaws it's sadly not that usable.

effects don't work ...ipad pro.....but I like the interphase ....better interphase than AUM....

the app keep being shut down. That's anoying. I will request my money back.

I’m really enjoying this app

I downloaded this ap and paid for the upgrade sounds. Used it a couple times as a modual for overseas in case I couldn’t get what was on the tech rider. Used it just before Covid and it was fine before broke out and now it’s not working. It’s playing too many notes and sustaining doesn’t stop until I hit the panic button. Tried to call them and ask what happen but there’s no phone number or ways to contact them. Sad but wish it could be fixed or updated, and because I bought it in the apple App Store the initial down load was free but I paid for the extra sounds which are now hanging. I don’t want to purchase anymore product from here without a tech support to help me. Very unhelpful as of now.

It lives up to its name. I’ve been using MKSENSATION for the last year with no issues. It’s a phenomenal program.

I wish MKSensation was AUv3 compliant.

It was a good app. I purchased it a couple years. Back n now it won’t play in though my Roland keyboard. A note keeps. Popping up saying pay $19.99. The app plays sound Thur the iPad but will not play though my Roland keyboard, it has nice sounds but I can’t get them to work right. Now of my connections changed the APP DID.

Love this app! Is there anyway it can be updated so that the sound does not cut off as more ram is used considering IOS devices in 2020 can process way more compared to 4 years ago? An “MKSensation 2.0” would definitely be a must buy for me if it ever comes in to existence. Keep up the good work Jamal. God bless you and your team!

If I purchased all sounds iPhone, do I have to repurchase sounds on Ipad? I’m unable to use my purchased sounds on my IPad mini 2, as they are requiring another purchase.

...worth 5 stars! iPad owners who gig, especially church musicians, this is your chance to own the classic mks set up! Oh and some of the negative commenters...they either don’t know what an MKS is, have issues related to their device or their hardware, or they were just down on their luck at the time of their posting. If you know what an MKS is, you like it, and you gig with your iPad, get it!

There are no presets available, the chorus, reverb and vibrato knobs don’t do anything and the debug button is dormant as well. Make matters worse it seems as if this app hasn’t been updated in three years. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME/MONEY WITH THIS ONE!!!

I have already purchased all their apps and decided to give this a try. It’s overpriced for the limited features you get. My honest opinion this entire app and ALL ADD ONS should cost no more than $9.99. It’s going for $20. Save your money, get the Pure synth Platinum, FM Tines or Neo-Soul Keys studio and or the recently released Neo Soul Keys Studio 2 app. I’m not happy with the pianos in this app. They remind me of my 1990s Casio PSR series keyboards. These alternatives from the developer are way better for live performance and recording.

Once you purchase the app if something goes wrong with the app or your Apple product the support team will not respond to your message you may send them. If you have to reinstall the app get ready to pay for it all over again. YOU CAN NOT RESTORE YOUR PURCHASE THROUGH THE APP NOR THROUGH ITUNES STORE... YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!!

I can’t get it to work with my Fantom 8, a little help would be appreciated!!!

Installed this on my IPhone 8. Using it along with the Korg Plugkey and a m-audio keystation 88. Simple setup and installation. The EP-1 and Acoustic Piano are excellent. Strings and Pad are great for layering. The Piano 1 & 2 are accurate to the old rackmount synth but I wouldn’t use them much. This is everything you need for most church services and gospel gigs. Impressive job done by this company.

I bought this trash and it does not even connect to the keyboard rather it will play on the phone.Do not waist your money please my church was disappointed with me

19.95 is a lot of money for 12 presets. Hit the preset button and the list is blank. Not happy. Like the mixing idea. Need more sounds/instruments.

I really like the sounds and the straight forward simplicity of the interface but the Chorus, Reverb and Vibrato effects don’t work. I uninstalled and reinstalled with the same result. Without the effects to enhance the basic sounds the tones are static and dry.

I was expecting to see more presets, especially in the BRASS section!

I like this app but needs an update because when I am playing layers it doesn’t sound good

I love the sounds and accessibility to mix those sounds as you please. The only down side of this app, which is a big down side, is that the app doesn’t pick up every not you play when using a sustain pedal. I’m not sure what the issue is but it’s hard when you can’t hear all the notes you want to hear.

This app I love the sounds and that I’m able to mix the volumes with the mixer the only problem is.... it cuts out at like 90 cpu and it doesn’t have a master volume could this be fixed?

App crashes all the time. Developer need fix the problem. Sad you pay for the upgrade and it’s crashes....Please do not buy until they fix the problems...do not matter how many gigs your device it’s still crashes.

What does GUI stand for?

I get really annoyed when it's that easy to hit the wrong button and buy something for 20 bucks. The biggest button on the app is "buy all sounds" for 19.99. You're warned. The piano is something I could get in any sound font. Not cool on the button thing. I'm glad I was able to back it out.

Ok, so I have both the iOS and Kontakt version of this app. Both sound extremely similar to each other. The reason for the 3 stars isn’t because the sound quality is bad or anything like that. It’s because there are no built in presets like the Kontakt version which is extremely unfortunate. I had to spend a lot of time manually making my own presets by trying to match the settings from my Kontakt version to my iOS version. I think this was a massive oversight. I hope a future update can fix this issue.

Great idea but, No app support. They don’t respond back. They don’t bother to update. Brass and Synth sound freezes even on an updated iPad . Midi learn is not that good. Neo Soul keys is a much better app.

It would be better if we can control the mix from our midi. So control some of all the 12 channels on our midi for better live performance.

For whatever reason the midi wouldn't work with the iPad mini 2nd generation, and the description says it should work. It works fine wth my iPhone, but not the iPad mini, which is totally weird.

I am a working musician who also plays in church. This app has become a go-to workhorse. I have recently invested in keyboard apps & found the convenience to to be wonderful. But upon downloading MKSensation, I have opened up a wealth of new sonic possibilities. I generally play the Motif 8 at church. Coupled with this app, the sounds are amazing. I'm hoping that the developers will allow it to be merged with apps like Korg Gadget. If that happens, then the ceiling would be truly shattered!

Love the sounds,however when it comes to Live Play, it's horrible. A single sound is fine, however if I layer/combine 2 or more sounds; it goes from using 30-50 CPUs to 160-190 causing it to freeze all the time. $30 for something I can't use. I use other apps for live play that has 10xs the features of this apps and they function way better, using up to 70 CPU.... No freezing... Fix this issue and it's a sure 5 stars from me.

The sounds are great but for some reason the app always crashes. It's very frustrating & embarrassing especially live. I use other keyboard apps and they work fine so in concluding that it is a problem within the app. Please fix it because I LOVE the sounds.

I purchased the All synths for $29.99 and I don't see any new sounds. Where are they? If not, I would like my money back please.

Finally got sound from the app. Cheesy quality sounds. I would never use such low quality sounds on anything I do! And at $4 a pop is 75% too much. ------ Does not take advantage of a multitouch device making it unnecessarily difficult to navigate around to actually use it. No presets is a huge negative! I never, ever heard of a developer before 'advertising' that they aren't including any presets as plus?! That's just a lazy developer. BUT, let's get back to, I've got no sound! That's too funny. One star.

Great interface! Sweet chorus! Nice RD and Yamaha sounds snd it weighs a few ounces instead of 75 pounds.... Please add comp perc full organs, clav, delay, controller 74 for filter cutoff and selectable program changes! Then one app can almost cover an entire gig!

Good interface with direct access to all the sounds you'll probably need. Larger fingers may have issues with interface on non iPad iDevices. If your used to the Kontakt versions sound quality you may be disappointed. Not sure this app was re written to take advantage of later iDevices added memory. Pads and strings have good depth. Piano 1 sound is stale. EP 2 Piano is very useable. Power Grand is done very well. Not all sounds have consistent sound quality but like mentioned above, you can't beat the convenience. Audio Bus support is a big plus. 3 strong stars.

The sounds are great!!!! I use it in church to get that west coast Mike Bereal/Jason White sound. Only thing wrong is that the power grand goes in and out after playing for like 15 mins.

Been through a lot of keyboards and sound modules through the years, but I don't remember ever owning or even trying a MKS module (surprisingly). Very nice surprise. Once I began to experiment with different layers I recognized sounds I've heard on music through the years. Individually the sounds are good, but layered they're great.

App keeps crashing upon launch

Kudos to the developer for bringing these sounds to iOS. But why is the main "window display" CROOKED and skewed?! And why are there white lines (of different thicknesses) on three sides of the display? And why is there a shadow on one edge of the display? Even the text — "Live Giggin' Module" — is crooked, off-center, and sags on the left. How on earth do those things even happen?! And how does a developer not notice before releasing a product?! The UI on this app is a jumbled, nonsensical mess. Also, the contrast button seems to be non-functioning. Tapping it only nags the user about purchasing more sounds. So, why include the contrast button at all? It's as if the entire, center section is some weird attempt to mimic the MKS-20's front panel. But why make it CROOKED? Why add the weird, white lines? And why include buttons that have NO FUNCTION? Also, the mixer channels are far too close together. And there's no apparent way to zero a channel (or channels) after accidentally moving it (them). It's nice to have the MKS-20 sounds on iOS, but this app's UI is downright hideous—for no good reason.

Bought this last year for my ipad air but did not see an option for iphone. Made the request on November 2015 and bam im satisfied with the turn around time for the iphone release. Again great app.

I'm so ecstatic that this app is now available on iPhone. However, on my iPhone 6 Plus, I'm getting no response when I press FM TINE... The light doesn't come on or anything and it's the only sound not working. I updated to the latest version on my iPad as well and it's working on there... Hopefully this can be fixed quickly! I just downloaded it. The reverb does not work on my iPad Air. The free piano sounds pretty good, but would sound much better if it had reverb.

Chorus/Reverb doesn't seem to do anything on iOS 9.2 beta 3. On-screen keyboard is way oversized on iPad Pro.

I already bought the mksensation but everytime i touch the contrast it always comes out "buy the all synths". Hope it can fix it asap. Thanks

MKSensation for iPad absolutely Rocks! Most importantly, MKSensation sounds fantastic, wonderful, fat, warm and lush. This is like receiving an early Christmas and Birthday present all rolled in to one. Don't hate me but, I'm running MKSensation on a 64GB iPad Air 2 and so far I have layered up to 7-sounds at once with no glitches whatsoever, and that's with a Latency Setting of 128 frames. I'll try adding more layers later but let's get real, how many would I ever need in a live performance situation? This is already an incredible leap forward with the MKSensation sound palate at my fingertips. Thanks again for such a fine addition to the music creation capabilities of the iPad. I have one feature request. It would be very cool if MKSensation's virtual display screen which normally shows the name of the selected instrument i.e. "EP 1” or the word “LAYERS”, could also display the name of the currently active Preset if the user has created and selected any. I think that this would be very helpful in live performance situations. You've spoiled me and all of us so, do you know what I'm going to ask for next? Why of course FM TiNES, TGX-85, and the TGX-99. Some peoples are just never satisfied ;-) Thanks again for the incredible amount of work and dedication to quality that you've put into all of your music instrument apps.

I would have given five stars but 1,2,3 buttons on the iPad stop working in the middle of my service on Sunday NO Sounds at all from those buttons. (From the module)

This is a fabulous sounding module. When I ran it through the church system I was amazed. Jamal, keep up the good work. Btw, you probably shouldn't write a negative review on this module when the issues you are encountering is an operator issue.
